Spend up to 8 hours on the water enjoying a full-day spearfishing and snorkeling adventure around San Pedro and Ambergris Caye.

This private tour combines reef fishing, snorkeling, seasonal lobster and conch hunting, and the chance to try spearfishing with guidance from an experienced crew.

Whether you’ve done it before or this is your first time, we will be there to help you throughout the day.

Start the Day With Reef Fishing

Your adventure begins with approximately 4 hours of fishing along the reef near San Pedro and Ambergris Caye. We come prepared with bait and all the fishing tackle you’ll need for the day.

Depending on the weather conditions and what’s biting, you may have the chance to catch:

Snapper
Jack
Barracuda
Mackerel
Grouper

If weather and sea conditions allow, we may also take you into deeper waters for a chance to target larger fish.

Never fished before? No problem. Our crew is here to help you:

Bait your hook
Cast your line
Learn basic fishing techniques
Safely remove fish from the hook

If you’re more experienced, you’re welcome to fish independently.

Take Your Catch With You

If you would like to keep your catch, our crew will clean and prepare the fish for you at the end of the day so you can take it with you.

Snorkel Along the Belize Barrier Reef

After fishing, we’ll switch from fishing rods to snorkeling gear and head into the water.

You’ll have the opportunity to explore the reef and see some of the marine life found around San Pedro and Ambergris Caye. One of our crew members will be in the water with you to guide you, point out marine life, and help make sure you feel comfortable throughout the snorkeling portion of the tour.

Lobster & Conch Hunting When in Season

While snorkeling, you may also have the opportunity to look for lobster and conch when in season. If you’ve never done this before, we’ll show you:

What to look for
Where lobster and conch are commonly found
How to approach the activity safely
How the catch is handled

This is a hands-on experience, and our crew members will be there to help you every step of the way.

All lobster and conch activities are subject to Belize fishing regulations and seasonal restrictions.

Spearfishing in San Pedro, Belize

One of the highlights of this tour is the opportunity to try spearfishing around San Pedro.

If you have never done spearfishing before, we will guide you through the basics and show you how it is done. We’ll also help identify which fish may legally be taken and which should be left alone.

Experienced guests are also welcome to enjoy the activity at their own pace. Spearfishing opportunities will depend on:

They picked us up on a dock just down from our hotel. We were trolling almost immediately. We then moved to bottom fishing in 300’ where we caught plenty of red snappper. Next they took us closer to the reef where we spearfished / snorkeled for lobster and fish. We bagged lobster to add to our catch. By then it was lunch time and we hit a beach where Joel & JR prepared our caught fish and lobster. The lunch was delicious! To finish off the day we trolled in the deep water and caught black fin tuna, spanish mackerel, and bonito. Let’s say we were exhausted and slept so good that night. Do I need spearfishing experience?

No. First-time guests are welcome. Our crew will explain the basics and provide guidance while you’re in the water.

Is fishing and snorkeling gear included?

Yes. Fishing tackle, bait, and snorkeling equipment are included.

What fish can we catch?

Depending on the season and conditions, you may have the opportunity to catch snapper, jack, barracuda, mackerel, grouper, and other local reef species.

Can we go deep-water fishing?

If weather and sea conditions allow, there may be an opportunity to fish in deeper water for larger fish.

Can we catch lobster and conch?

Lobster and conch activities are only available when the season is open and are subject to Belize fishing regulations.

Is this a private charter?

Yes. This tour is designed as a private full-day charter for your group.

Do I need to bring lunch?
